On October 26, 2023, at 14:30, the "Looking Back at Chang'an" Forum on the Integration of Industry and Education for Architectural Professional Talent Development (Sixth Season) was officially held at the second-floor conference hall of the North Campus Conference Center of Chang'an University. The forum featured academic presentations from distinguished professionals: Yan Shi, Vice Dean of the Engineering Design Research Institute of Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd.; Li Liancai, Deputy Chief Planner at Shenzhen Planning Institute; Ling Jiewen, Director of the Organization Department and Human Resources Department of the Party Committee at China Construction Design International; and Zhang Hongyu, General Manager of the Creative Center at Benchmark Capital West Xi'an Company. Zhao Lei, Deputy Director of the Enrollment and Employment Office at Chang'an University, Li Xianfeng, Party Secretary of the School of Architecture, along with more than 400 faculty and students from the college attended the forum. The event was co-hosted by Liu Peng, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Architecture, and Yu Kanhua, Associate Dean.

Vice Dean Yan Shi discussed the current state of the architectural industry amidst significant changes and the application of digital technology within the industry. He provided a detailed analysis of the definition of "digitization" and presented a three-tier understanding of the concept.
